A long time ago, the animals were living peacfully. A bear moved into the forest. The bear was really mean. He said, “I am more powerful than you all!” And the bear wanted them to be his servants. The animals decided to create a beast to overcome the bear.
Crane, tiger, eagle, dragon and vulture made a beast out of their strongest body parts. Crane said, ”the beast shall as smart as me”. Tiger said, “the beast will have my sharp teeth”. Eagle said, “the beast shall have my sharp claws that are called talons”. Dragon said, “the beast shall breathe fire like me”. Finally vulture said, “the beast shall have my powerful wings”.
When the beast was ready, he was thirsty. He found a stream nearby and started to drink. The bear jumped out and started to tease the beast. So the beast chased the bear. When the huge beast was running, the earth started to shake. Only when he stopped for a rest, the ground stopped shaking. Since then, every time the beast runs, there is an earthquake.
Moral: Even if you’re strong, you shouldn’t brag about yourself.
